Born and raised in Burlington, Alex Hutchings brings a unique background of discipline, dedication, and teamwork to his real estate career. At just 15, Alex moved to Barrie to play in the OHL, where he spent four years before embarking on a 13-year professional hockey career across North America and Europe. Those years instilled in him a relentless work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure — qualities that now serve his clients in real estate.

Alex’s passion for real estate sparked early when he purchased his first investment property at 21. Experiencing firsthand how smart decisions at the right time can build long-term wealth, he was hooked. Today, he brings that same insight and drive to helping families and investors achieve their own real estate goals.

Outside of Real Estate

Away from real estate, Alex loves spending time with his wife and business partner, fellow Realtor® Kandis, and their two daughters, Harper and Brynley. Alex also enjoys playing hockey, hitting the golf course, and exploring Burlington’s/Toronto’s food scene.
